These Mary Berry Chocolate Fork Biscuits are a simple classic — made with just a few ingredients but packed with rich, chocolatey flavour. They’re crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and the perfect little treat to enjoy with a cup of tea. I’ll definitely be baking these again!
Ingredients:
- 100g unsalted butter
- 50g golden sugar
- 150g self-raising flour
- 25g cocoa powder
- splash of milk (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / GM4. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the flour and cocoa powder and mix until well combined. Add a splash of milk if the mixture appears too crumbly.
- Flour your hands, then roll the dough into 15 small balls. Transfer them to the baking tray and press each ball down with a fork to flatten - it helps to dip the fork in flour.
- Bake for 10-12 minute, then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
