Easter Egg Nests

These no-bake chocolate nests are a delightful treat for Easter. Made with shredded wheat, milk chocolate, and mini eggs, they're simple to prepare and perfect for sharing with friends and family.

Ingredients:
  • 100g shredded wheat
  • 250g milk chocolate
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 75g soft butter
  • 1 bag of mini eggs

Method:
  1. Prepare the Muffin Tin: Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper cases.
  2. Melt the Ingredients: In a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, combine the chopped milk chocolate, golden syrup, and chopped soft butter. Stir until nearly melted, then remove from heat. The residual heat will melt the mixture completely.
  3. Combine with Shredded Wheat: Crumble the shredded wheat into the melted chocolate mixture using your fingers. Stir with a wooden spoon until well combined.
  4. Form the Nests: Spoon the mixture into the paper cases, pressing gently to form a nest shape. Create a small indent in the center of each nest to hold the mini eggs.
  5. Add the Mini Eggs: Place three mini eggs into the indent of each nest.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the nests for at least 1 hour to allow the chocolate to set.
